Bio
Zaira Klie is an Associate Attorney at The Scott Law Firm whose practice focuses on immigration law, including U visa, Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ), asylum, adjustment of status and naturalization. A longtime New Orleans resident, she earned her Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Loyola University New Orleans, graduating magna cum laude.
Born and raised in Venezuela, Ms. Klie understands firsthand the hopes and challenges of building a life in a new country. That experience informs her approach to representing clients: listening with empathy, providing thoughtful guidance, and communicating openly and honestly. She recognizes that each case involves a person’s family, stability, and future, and brings integrity and a strong sense of responsibility to her work. Fluent in English and Spanish, she helps clients understand their options and remain informed throughout the immigration process.
Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Klie holds a black belt in karate and has practiced martial arts for more than 20 years. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters and creating lasting family memories.
