Colin Leonard

Bio
Colin Leonard was born and raised in New Jersey. After obtaining degrees in philosophy and literature from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Purchase, Mr. Leonard relocated to New Orleans in 2014, where he has lived ever since. Mr. Leonard received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2021.
Mr. Leonard fell in love with immigration law while working at Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans (CCANO), representing children in state and immigration court. Mr. Leonard joined The Scott Law Firm in 2026, where he represents individuals in complex immigration matters, including removal defense and federal immigration litigation.
In his spare time, Mr. Leonard loves to read, garden, and is active with the National Lawyers Guild, including serving in leadership with its Louisiana chapter.
