Bio

Caroline Schroeder was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She obtained bachelor’s degrees in history and Spanish literature from Louisiana State University. Caroline has personal experience with both sides of the immigration journey: she worked for four years in Dublin, Ireland, as a non-resident and resident visa holder, and while there, she met her husband, who is now a long-term permanent resident in the United States.

Caroline is currently a law student at LSU Law School. Before coming to Scott Law Firm as a 2L, Caroline worked at the ACLU of Louisiana, where she first discovered her passion for immigration law

In her free time, Caroline enjoys running and reading historical fiction. She has run 5ks, 10ks, 15ks, and half-marathons, and she aims to complete her first marathon this year with several other colleagues at the firm.
